You walked through the halls of the palace seeking the younger prince whom you’d seen earlier that morning but he hadn’t exactly looked well nor had he stopped to speak with you long before heading off while you also went off to patrol Asgard. After hours of searching however you finally had only one place left to look, the garden where Loki sometimes liked to read when he was feeling stressed or out of sorts. You walked through the garden dressed in your lesser clothing instead of the heavy armor you’d worn out to the patrols this morning when you finally caught sight of the familiar form resting on a stone bench in the distance.

You huffed as you threw off your jacket then trucked down to the basement to start butchering the animals for dinner once they were on the stove cooking you settled down for a night of reading before bed. You jumped nearly ten feet off the chair you were sitting in when a pounding sound came from your door causing you to immediately snatch up your blade sitting on the table next to you before cautiously making your way to the door. You had been banished from Asgard years ago so obviously you weren't accustom to having any company but occasionally some marauder or assassin would come looking for you. Your hand hesitated just above the doorknob while your other hand grip the blade so tight your knuckles were white but in one fail swoop you whipped the door open only to have none other then Loki fall literally into the cabin.
